Remembrance Day at Woody Bay Station with its narrow gauge Lynton to Barnstaple railway on Exmoor. EventRent was please to supply the outdoor PA system along the length the railway station, allowing everyone to hear the ceremony along both sides of the platforms which was the 90th anniversary of the end of the war. The Bishop of Exeter dedicated a restored First World War locomotive, which operated on the Western Front, to commemorate Armistice Day and Named the loco the "Axe", after the East Devon river. The Rt Rev Michael Langrish performed the ceremony and was accompanied by Rear Admiral Ric Cheadle, the Devon county president of the Royal British Legion.
Dog Trust's Annual open day event, Dog lovers and owners enjoy a day out. Competitions ranging from the waggiest tail, prettiest Bitch, most hansom Dog, and best Trick - plus trained displays. Not to mention side stalls and fun for all.
