Westward Ho! Potwalloping Festival

POTWALLOPING FESTIVAL WAS FANTASTIC
I just wanted to thank everyone who worked so hard this year organising and making Westward Ho!'s Potwalloping Festival such a success.The highlight for me personally is the free live music every night in the marquee. Keeping this feature free cannot be easy for the committee, with an excellent sound and light system.

Praise has to go out to the local bands who all played for nothing. We have some fantastic young talented bands here in North Devon that need our continued support, like The Outfit, The Breaks, The Sonix and Severe Zero to name but a few, who could easily make the music business sit up and look to North Devon as a hub of rising talent.

I have been going to watch bands for more than 30 years now, but I never fail to get excited by the energy and enthusiasm of live music, so again big thanks to Potwalloping for bringing it to my doorstep.

Oh, and the firework display was fantastic!
